Peck Ledge Light is an offshore lighthouse in Norwalk, Connecticut, among the Norwalk Islands on Long Island Sound. Built in 1906 as a compact cast-iron sparkplug lighthouse for exposed marine conditions, it stands 54 feet high and originally used a fourth-order Fresnel lens. The Coast Guard automated it in 1933, ending resident keepers, and in 1988 replaced the Fresnel lens with a 250 mm optic. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, it remains an active aid to navigation operated by the United States Coast Guard. Despite vandalism, birds, and corrosion, it is still regarded as in good condition.
