Built in 1922, this site has been the center and single most important structure for hosting Blakeslee area community affairs. It has served as a gathering place for local clubs, hosting fellowship dinners, public elections, dances, local art and fashion shows, community plays, family reunions, holiday celebrations, boxing matches, wedding receptions and much more. This center continues to serve as the central core of the Blakeslee village and the surrounding township community.
