James M. Robb – Colorado River State Park is an 890-acre state park along the Colorado River near Grand Junction in western Colorado. Established in 1994, it is distinctive for being divided into five separate sections—Island Acres, Fruita, Corn Lake, Connected Lakes, and the Colorado River Wildlife Area—linked by the river corridor rather than a single tract of land. The park combines camping, swimming, boating, and day use, with boat ramps at several sections. It is also an important river recreation route, with roughly 10-mile float trips between Corn Lake, Connected Lakes, and Fruita that include class II rapids accessible to many recreational boaters.
