Wolfpen Ridge runs roughly south to north along the boundary between Towns and Union counties in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It is part of one of the state’s highest stretches of terrain and stands out for linking two exceptionally high elevations. Its northern end reaches Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia at 4,786 feet. At its southern end, the ridge rises to an unnamed 4,561-foot peak, the state’s fifth-highest point. With these elevations at either end, Wolfpen Ridge holds an important place in Georgia’s mountain landscape as a notably high ridge.
