Bay View State Park is a public recreation area on Padilla Bay in Washington, occupying 66 acres with 1,285 feet of shoreline along the bay. It originated in 1925 when the Skagit County Agricultural Association donated the land to the state for park use. Its setting gives visitors direct access to the water despite its modest size. The park remains a place for camping, picnicking, swimming, and beachcombing, and it also carries a segment of the Pacific Northwest Trail.
