Brigadier General Kasimir Pulaski, born 1748 and died 1779, was Marshall General of Poland, served as Father of American Cavalry and Chief of Dragoons in the Continental Army, fought at Charleston, Savannah, Germantown, Brandywine, and Egg Harbor, and was mortally wounded in the Battle of Savannah, Georgia, on October 7, 1779.
