Antonio J. Waring, Jr. lived from 1915 to 1964 and was honored for his memorable work in archaeology and the field of Indian civilization, as well as for his devoted labors as consultant to The Georgia Historical Commission in the creation of this museum and restoration of Fort McAllister.
