Red Haw State Park is an Iowa state park in Lucas County near Chariton, centered on seventy-two-acre Red Haw Lake. The park is also tied to a recent natural disaster: on March 5, 2022, an EF3 tornado struck the park, killing one person, injuring another, and causing heavy damage to structures and trees. Even after that destruction, the site remains a recognized state park landscape focused on the lake.
