The Battle of the Bulge was an enormous and intensive battle, the greatest battle ever engaged in by the United States Army, fought in Belgium and Luxembourg during World War II from December 16, 1944 through January 25, 1945, under most adverse winter weather. It was an American victory marked by triumph of courage and by the service and sacrifice of the gallant and victorious men and women of the United States Army who participated in it.
