Thousand Oaks Community Gallery is a public art gallery in Newbury Park, California, next to the Newbury Park Branch Library near the Borchard Road exit south of the 101 Freeway. Opened in February 1991 through cooperation between the City of Thousand Oaks, local arts organizations, and community supporters, the 3,000-square-foot space is regarded as one of Conejo Valley’s main visual arts venues. Its program features exhibitions, workshops, artist presentations, and events, with shows spanning photography, painting, and contests that include local artists and established professionals. City staff operate the gallery with guidance from a steering committee of regional arts representatives and leaders, and original artworks are sold there.
