The Yuba County Veterans Memorial honors veterans of Yuba and Sutter Counties, living and dead, with special remembrance for those who gave their lives in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Iraq War, presenting their sacrifice as the community’s gift of freedom and declaring that their names must not be lost or forgotten because the hopes and dreams they surrendered are carried forward by those who live in that freedom.
