Salzburger Spitzl is an 11,600-foot mountain in Idaho’s Pioneer Mountains, standing on the boundary between the Sawtooth and Salmon-Challis National Forests and between Blaine and Custer counties. It ranks as the 14th highest peak in the Pioneer Mountains and the 40th highest in Idaho by elevation. Its summit lies less than 0.9 mile west of Goat Mountain, placing it within a tightly clustered group of high peaks in central Idaho.
