The Parr Post Office was owned by Mrs. Vera Randolph, who served as Parr Postmaster from 1938 to 1968, when the post office closed. In 1969, Dale Brunton donated it to the Jasper County Historical Society, and it was moved to the Jasper County Fairgrounds.
