Panther Falls is a roughly 50-foot waterfall on Joe Branch Creek in Rabun County, Georgia, and the first of two cascades along the Angel Falls Trail. It is the nearer destination from Rabun Beach Camping Area #2, reached by a moderately strenuous hike of about 0.5 mile. Farther along the same route, another 0.5 mile beyond, lies Angel Falls, the trail’s second cascade. Panther Falls is significant as the initial waterfall encountered on this trail and as the more accessible of the two scenic stops.
