The Teacher, a bronze sculpture by Casey Eskridge, honors the native Potawatomi and Miami tribes who fished the Tippecanoe River. It was sponsored by the Pulaski County Historical Society and funded through the Pulaski County Community Foundation. The sculpture was dedicated on September 7, 2002. Casey Eskridge was born on November 22, 1972, in Winamac, Indiana.
