Harpeth River State Park in Tennessee is a linear park that connects historic, natural, and archaeological sites along the lower Harpeth River in parts of Cheatham and Davidson counties. Rather than a single tract, it forms a river corridor uniting several distinct places. Its best-known feature is the Narrows of the Harpeth, where the river cuts a tight bend, and the nearby Montgomery Bell Tunnel, built in 1818 to divert water and power Pattison Forge. The park also preserves the Mound Bottom and Mace Bluff archaeological sites, Newsom's Mill Historic Site, the Gossett Tract State Natural Area, and land at Hidden Lakes.
