Doubletop Peak
Nature
Doubletop Peak is the highest summit in Wyoming’s Gros Ventre Range, rising to between 11,720 and 11,760 feet within the Gros Ventre Wilderness of Bridger-Teton National Forest. Its importance is primarily geographic, as the tallest point in the range and one of the defining summits of this remote part of western Wyoming. Set in a protected wilderness landscape, the peak is associated with rugged terrain and an undeveloped character that help distinguish the area.
