Corbin Covered Bridge in Newport, New Hampshire, is a wooden Town lattice truss bridge carrying Corbin Road over the North Branch of the Sugar River west of Route 10. Built in 1845, it was a classic New England covered bridge with a single 96-foot span, an 18-foot-wide roadway for one lane of traffic, and stone abutments rising about 12 feet above the water. After being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, it was destroyed by fire on May 25, 1993, removed from the register, and later reconstructed to preserve the appearance and function of this historic crossing.
