Mount Sunapee is a five-mile ridge in western New Hampshire spanning Newbury and Goshen, with several summits rather than a single peak. Its highest point, at the north end, lies within Mount Sunapee State Park, while the ridge extends south toward Pillsbury State Park. Notable features include White Ledges, South Peak, North Peak, and Lake Solitude just below the crest. The mountain is a major regional recreation center, with skiing, snowboarding, and hiking supported by an extensive trail network. It is also an important junction for two long-distance greenways and marks a divide between waters flowing to the Merrimack and Connecticut rivers.
