Little Blue Peak
Nature
Little Blue Peak is the highest point on Little Blue Ridge in northern California’s Northern Coast Ranges, on the Yolo-Lake county boundary within Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument. Though the summit is officially unnamed, it holds local importance as the highest point in Yolo County. That status was once attributed to Berryessa Peak, measured at 3,057 feet, until John Sarna determined in 1991 that Little Blue Peak stands more than 80 feet higher. While not especially tall by California standards, the summit still receives some winter snowfall.
