Nature
Centre Mountain is a 2,700-metre (8,858-foot) summit in the Maligne Range of Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rockies of Alberta, Canada. Morrison Bridgland named it in 1916 for its position between Excelsior Mountain and Amber Mountain. The mountain’s significance here lies in its location within Jasper National Park and in the origin of its name, which reflects its central placement in the surrounding landscape.
