The Wind Gap Veterans Memorial is dedicated to individuals who fought to preserve freedom and to protect and ensure the freedom of others, including those who served in Vietnam, Korea, Grenada, and the Persian Gulf. It honors men and women who answered the call to serve their country. The monument was dedicated on May 27, 1996, and was built by John Pacovich III as an Eagle Scout project.
