Built in 1824 by Albert Van Voorhees, this Federal home replaced his earlier house on land called “Wikehoff,” which had been owned by his father William since 1720. Albert, a veteran of the Revolution and a Justice, deeded the new home to his grandson Albert J. Van Voorheis. In 1867, Uriah Quackenbush purchased the house and later willed it to his granddaughter, Grace Quackenbush Zabriskie, who bequeathed the home to the Town of Wyckoff in 1973.
