Angela Marlow Newton was a classmate of Erskine College's Class of 1995 whose untimely death during her senior year deeply affected both her classmates and the wider Erskine community, and members of the Class of 1995 made the initial gift and a substantial contribution in her memory, with additional generous support from members of the Class of 1998 and others.
