Originally constructed in 1916 near the banks of Little Cypress Creek, eleven miles northwest, this gothic-detailed chapel served the congregation of St. John Lutheran Church and was built by German craftsmen. When the fellowship grew too large for the sanctuary, members of Windwood Presbyterian Church purchased it and moved it to Grant Road, eight miles northeast. Heritage Presbyterian Church relocated it here in 1980.
