Coronado Cave
Nature
Coronado Cave is a natural feature in Coronado National Memorial in southern Arizona near the Mexican border. Known for being relatively accessible, it offers a walk-through cave experience with a steady interior temperature and passages ranging from easy walking sections to tighter rooms that require some crawling. The cave is about 600 feet long, 70 feet wide, and 20 feet tall, with several passages and crawl ways. Stalactites and stalagmites add to its appeal. Reached by a well-marked trail of about 0.75 miles from the parking lot, access is managed through the visitor center with a free permit.
