Lost Creek Bridge near Lake Creek in southern Oregon carries Lost Creek Road over Lost Creek and, at 39 feet, is the state's shortest historic covered bridge. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, it was closed to vehicle traffic that year when a concrete bridge was built beside it, and it has since been preserved as a historic structure. Its age remains uncertain: it may date to 1878, which would make it Oregon's oldest standing covered bridge, though an official 1919 date may reflect renovation rather than original construction. The bridge's queen-post truss, open ends, ribbon openings, cantilevered buttresses, shingle roof, and diagonal-plank floor distinguish it architecturally.
