Fairport Harbor West Breakwater Light stands on Lake Erie at the end of a breakwater near the mouth of the Grand River in Fairport Harbor, Ohio. Built in 1925 to replace an earlier village light, it is one of two lighthouses associated with the harbor and remains an active aid to navigation, with its light and foghorn maintained by the United States Coast Guard. Though automated and closed to the public, it can be viewed from the walkable breakwater. Its significance was recognized by its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, and after preservation efforts and auctions, it became a summer residence in 2011.
