Cooley of Company D, 2nd C.H.A., killed at the Battle of Winchester, Virginia, on Sept. 19, 1864, aged 29; Serg. David B. Wooster of Company D, 2nd C.H.A., killed at the Battle of Fishers Hill, Virginia, on Sept. 19, 1864, aged 37; Morton W. Castle of Company C, 8th Reg't C.V., killed at the Battle of Antietam, Maryland, on Sept. 17, 1862, aged 17; Charles L. Castle of Company C, 8th Reg't C.V., died in hospital in Virginia on Aug. 1, 1864, aged 17; Walter Hale of Company C, 20th Reg't C.V., killed at the Battle of Chancellorsville, Virginia, on May 3, 1863, aged 18; Corp. Joseph E. Camp of Company K, 2nd C.H.A., killed at the Battle of Cold Harbor, Virginia, on June 1, 1864, aged 22; Henry M. Miner of Company A, C.H.A., died in hospital in Alexandria, Virginia, on Feb. 14, 1863, aged 25; and Corp. Apollos C. Morse of Company A, 2nd C.H.A., killed at the Battle of Cold Harbor, Virginia, on June 1, 1864, aged 20.
