Boys' Dormitory (116)
Education
The Boys' Dormitory was constructed in 1932 on the east end of the fort's Parade Ground, on the site of earlier military structures including a telegraph office. Sandstone for the building was quarried from a site about a half mile east of the post, and a German stonecutter was commissioned to supervise the work. The dormitory has twenty six student rooms and may have housed as many as four hundred boys during the height of the school's attendance.
