Renaissance Plaza is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1900, restored in 1982, received a Preservation Project Award from the Maryland Historical Trust in 1984, and was restored by Mr. and Mrs. James G. Barrett and Mr. and Mrs. William H. Freeman.
