This two story wooden structure had six rooms for guests and served first as the Nixon Boarding House and later as the Whitley Boarding House. Red water was featured. During the 1950's, it was the location of Alexander and Russell Funeral Home before the business moved into the Joines Boarding House on the Lafayette Road.
