Mabry "Doc" Savage grew up in the Tiger Bend area near Marion, Louisiana. As a contractor, musician, luthier, rare instrument collector, teacher, and mentor, his legacy lives on. Performances with the Twin City Jamboree Band, his siblings, and the Savage home jam sessions are forever embedded in the area's rich musical history. His wife, Stance, was his partner in all endeavors. Because of her dedication and the love of his children, family, and friends, life's challenges never slowed him down.
