Ensign C. Markland Kelly, Jr., USN, was born September 22, 1916, and was lost in action during the Battle of Midway on June 4, 1942. His spirit, courage, and love of country were held as an inspiration to those who would make the ultimate sacrifice to preserve liberty and defend the United States.
