Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint is a fifty-nine-acre Oregon state park on a bluff along the northwestern coast between Whale Cove and Rocky Creek, extending along Otter Crest Loop Road to the Rocky Creek Bridge. The state assembled the park over several decades by purchasing parcels from private owners between 1926 and 1954 and receiving additional federal land. Its original development came in 1934 to 1936 through work by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Open year-round for day use, the park is valued for coastal views, whale watching, waves, ocean birds, rocky shoreline scenery, and walks through a forest of shore pines, with picnic tables, parking, and restrooms for visitors.
