Brian Head Ski Resort, established in 1964, grew from a single-chairlift operation into a two-mountain ski area on Brian Head Peak and Navajo Peak with more than 650 skiable acres, 8 chairlifts, and about 72 runs. Serving southern Utah as well as visitors from southern California, Arizona, and the Las Vegas area, it stands out as Utah’s southernmost ski resort and a major winter destination for the desert Southwest. Its high elevation, from a 9,600-foot base to an 11,307-foot summit, shapes its character, while a bridge over Utah Highway 143 links terrain ranging from beginner slopes to advanced runs.
