Estelle Mountain
Nature
Estelle Mountain is a 2,767-foot peak in Riverside County, California, and the highest point in the Temescal Mountains. Rising on the west side of the range's upper section above Temescal Valley, it forms a prominent landmark in the local landscape. Its northern slopes drain through Dawson Canyon Wash, while ten other unnamed canyons cut its west, south, and east sides and feed into Temescal Creek. Because of its height and position, the mountain is widely visible from the valley below, and its summit sometimes carries winter snow.
