Round Lake State Park is a 142-acre public recreation area in northern Idaho, about four miles southwest of Sagle, centered on 55-acre Round Lake, a small lake formed by Pleistocene glacial activity. Its water-focused landscape supports year-round outdoor use. In warmer months, visitors camp, fish, swim, and boat, with watercraft limited to non-motor and electric-powered vessels. Park trails are used for hiking and biking in warmer seasons and for skiing in winter. The park also supports a range of wildlife, including black bear, moose, grizzly bear, beaver, deer, waterfowl, and many songbirds in its lake, wetland, and forest habitats.
