The Living History Farm at Kings Mountain State Park presents the world of a typical upcountry farmer of the 1800s and the surrounding community through a collection of buildings. Historians believe a farm once existed here, but the present site is not a re-creation. Instead, some buildings that pre-date the Civil War were moved here and others were constructed by the park to help reveal daily life on an 1800s farm.
