Clear Lake State Park is a public recreation area in northern Michigan in Canada Creek Ranch, Montmorency County, within Mackinaw State Forest. Covering 290 acres and including about two-thirds of the shoreline of the 133-acre spring-fed Clear Lake, it provides easy access to both the lake and the surrounding forest. The park offers swimming, fishing, boat launches, hiking, picnicking, a playground, and camping, serving both day visitors and overnight guests. Its location in Mackinaw State Forest places it in one of the most heavily forested parts of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
