Kidder Mountain is a 1,805-foot summit in the Wapack Range of south-central New Hampshire, on the boundary of New Ipswich and Temple. Reached from the Wapack Trail by a short side trail, it lies between Temple Mountain and Barrett Mountain along the ridgeline. Its mostly open summit, shaped in part by old pastureland rather than continuous forest, gives it notably broad views and makes it one of the more accessible high points in this long chain of walkable hills. The mountain also marks a local drainage divide, with waters from both sides ultimately reaching the Merrimack River. It is named for Reuben Kidder, a provincial squire from New Ipswich.
