Tray Mountain Wilderness is a protected area in northern Georgia within the Chattahoochee National Forest. Established in 1986 as part of the National Wilderness Preservation System and managed by the United States Forest Service, it encompasses 9,702 acres. Its highest point is the 4,430-foot summit of Tray Mountain, and the area also includes part of the Soque River. A distinctive feature is a 16.5-mile section of the Appalachian Trail that follows a ridge through the wilderness and is known for being unusually level. It lies near the Mark Trail Wilderness, west across State Route 75.
