Hamill's Hollow was named for Corwith "Corky" and Joan Hamill, who raced a Mercury Allard. Joan took second place in the 1950 ladies race. Guy, Clyde, and David Morter donated it in honor of AEF veterans who brought road racing, and the Historic Race Circuits of Elkhart Lake were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 17, 2006.
