The F-12 weighed just under 3000 lbs., had 12 horsepower, and cost $979.50. It was partly conceived to break down certain farmers' resistance to giving up their mules and horses. It came with either a wide-front, row-crop, or single-wheel tricycle. All-rubber tires became available in 1935. To avoid hand-cranking, some farmers would run the tractor down wooden blocks to start it.
