The Log Cabin was originally built circa 1830 by George Robison along Mad River Road. The cabin was donated by the Curtis Wilson family in 1980. The cabin was moved to its current site in 1990 during the Festival of Bells, when it was reconstructed and roofed. In 2002 the inside was furnished. In 2017 William Albert of Troop 6171 added the walkway and hitching post as an Eagle Scout project.
