Virginia Cassidy-Blythe gave birth in this house to a son, William Jefferson Blythe, III, on August 19th, 1946. He was named after his father, who died shortly before he was born. He grew up to be William Jefferson Clinton, the 42nd president of the United States. Here he learned many of the early lessons that defined his presidency and continue to define his life.
