This house was the first home of William Jefferson Clinton, 42nd President of the United States. He lived here for the first four years of his life with his mother and maternal grandparents, learned to walk and talk, learned to pray, and learned to read and count by number cards his grandparents tacked on the kitchen window. He continued to visit his grandparents here until his grandfather's death in 1956.
