Hagues Peak rises 13,573 feet in the Mummy Range of the Rocky Mountains within the Rocky Mountain National Park Wilderness in northern Colorado. About 9.9 miles northwest of Estes Park, it is the highest summit in the range and the highest point in Larimer County. The mountain was named for geologists James and Arnold Hague, who surveyed the area in the late 1800s. Nearby features include Fairchild Mountain, Mummy Mountain, and Rowe Glacier just north of the summit. As part of a protected wilderness landscape, Hagues Peak is recognized for both its great elevation and its commanding place in the rugged skyline north of Estes Park.
