The Overland Trail ran from 1813 to 1867, the Mormon Trail from 1847 to 1864, and the Military Road to New Fort Kearny dated to 1856. This site was also the location of Albion, Lincoln Post Office, and Timberville Post Office from 1856 to 1868.
