The Millersburg Opera House was built around 1890, and the building also housed City Hall. Over the years the Opera House was used for various events, including the showing of motion pictures. In the 1897-98 edition of the Julius Cahn Official Theatrical Guide, it was listed for Millersburg as a New Opera House with 500 seats and a stage 32 feet deep, at a time when Millersburg had a population of 3,000 in 1897. In the 1941 Film Daily Yearbook, it was listed as closed with 500 seats, and the Millersburg Opera House was demolished in 1957.
